David is passionate about seeing his clients succeed. He believes in collaboratively assisting and supporting them in achieving goals and believes strongly in personal agency. After a long and successful career in marketing for Sony Pictures Entertainment, David’s desire to assist others, combined with his previous career experience in working with people, naturally drew him to helping people directly, in order to make a difference within his community, and within a counselling setting. David brings to therapy an innate interest, curiosity, and understanding of the human condition, combined with an extensive Psychology background in his undergraduate and graduate studies and completed workshops. Whether it be a needed ear and support for a moment in crisis, or more depth, goal-oriented, critical thinking, David’s skills. along with his caring nature, make him ideally suited for those feeling “stuck,” contemplating or facing major life changes, or wanting to work through barriers and achieve personal goals.

David strongly believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and the importance of a safe space. David provides clients with the ability to explore new ways to approach their concerns and help shift perspectives to view things differently than before. Exploring thoughts, feelings, one’s own physical sensations, and spiritual insights are all part of therapeutic experience, leading to rich discussion and new understandings.
