Claudette’s emphasis is on helping individuals and families understand themselves better so that they can live more fully and with greater meaning in life.
From a positive Adlerian Psychotherapy approach coupled with 18 years experience as an Administrator of two large French Immersion Schools, and 25 years in the hospitality business, she is capable of working with individuals, relationships, and families on a variety of child and adult lifespan concerns with motivation, care, and respect. From an ally’s perspective to individual growth, she believes strongly that “trust and a strong therapeutic alliance are of upmost importance in the healing process.”
Claudette has two graduate degrees – a Master of Education (UBC) in Administration with a focus on Distributive Leadership and a Master of Art’s (YU) in Counselling Psychology. Having navigated through many difficult conversations as a consultant and facilitator with parents, staff and student, topics have included:

Claudette knows people. Prior to her work in education sector, she spent an extensive amount of time in India studying yoga and meditation. Throughout life, some of her clients have been her greatest teachers and is indebted to them for the growth they share. She truly believes in the collaborative change making experience of “talk therapy,” and the impact it has on healing, wellbeing, and life progress. She believes that understanding and relating to diverse groups of people are fundamental to fostering a dynamic therapeutic relationship; and believes that people have the capacity to navigate through difficult times in their life and connect with a hopeful future.
