She takes a positive approach to problem-solving and begins with this in mind when building a relationship with her clients based on mutual trust, respect, and integrity.

 

Claudette is the Administrator of a large French Immersion School and has worked as a French teacher and Principal for the past 18 years. She is in the process of finishing her second Master’s degree, with a focus on:

  • cross-cultural counselling
  • couples/family systems
  • senior,
  • school issues
  • sexual orientation and gender identity awareness (SOGI)
  • early childhood trauma and its impact on both children and adults

 

Building trust and a strong therapeutic alliance is of utmost importance in the healing process and providing an environment of understanding, respect, and confidentiality is paramount to her as a counsellor when working with individuals, couples, and families.

 

Prior to her work within the education sector, 25 years of working within the hospitality sector has given her an appreciation and a culturally rich working experience within diverse environments, which has included spending an extensive amount of time in India studying yoga and meditation.
